went to the auckland round of the NZ jet sprint today at meremere.

I got to meet up with the super boat team "in ya face racing". Great bunch of guys and girls.

took my sprint boat along as they also run a white pointer boat. They had seen a pic of it before and asked if they could put it on display next to thier race boat Smiley couldnt refuse that one.

At the end of racing. i got a chance to put the boat to work and ran it round the pit area.

Also sound like i have a sale or two for a boat when ive got the molds done

Pics arent very good though first one boat on bow 2nd pic boat by wheel

cheers
steve

My weekends carnage
running in a rocky river that was now where near big enough. heaps of scraps one big hole and a broken pipe mount. looks like i better get my new hull under way.

oh sad news for the vitroglaze sponsered superboat of richard burt. in the final round of the NZ sprint boats he was just too quick, ran outa water, rolled three times and has written off the boat. i guess it even happens to the best.

cheers
steve
