Craig, RCMK only has a 25.4cc top end at this time. Whats fitted is the latest generation EVO type which is 5HP & 2 pounds torque @ 16K stock out of the box. Gently massaged to get better midrange punch it should be a runner. Here are a few pictures inside a stock EVO cylinder

Hi Scott,
Looking good. It's hard to see in the picture you posted, but did you file a 45* angle on the front & back of the jet intake to match the jet unit?
Cheers Jason

In picture only leading edge on intake was done with trailing edge being an under cut into intake passage. Have sense added a bevel angle on trailing edge bringing the water separation point of the sharpened edge upward a tad.

That's the way I am intending to do the edges on mine. It looks like you have rounded the grates on your intake, or is that just the camera angle?
I'm going to grab some of my tools when I'm back home this coming weekend so I can get a bit more done while I'm up here.
Cheers Jason

Yes bottom side edges just lightly rounded to reduce water turbulence flowing threw the grate.

It Runs ! ... and runs quite well indeed. The RCMK Evo has plenty of balz moving boat likely faster than its is comfortable doing. Turns precise and controlled, over steering produced spins outs = just more giggles ** CG at 30% is indeed too far forward, pump has a hard time keeping primed when really going nutz on the steering inputs. Hull runs fine with an excellent angle of attack with trim changes. Weight needs to be a bit further back at the recommended @ 26/27% range so hull pivots more on the transom and intake than mid hull as mine is slightly doing. BIG THUMBS UP .... Squirt baby Squirt

Hey Scott, how is the boat running now? Did you take any pictures or video of it going?
