I got some more done over the past couple of days.
I've mounted the radio and engine in the hull, I had to make a special extension to the coil relocator so that I had room for the trim and stearing push rods by turning the pullstart 90 degrees. The throttle linkage is also set up without obstruction. I've got 2mm gap between the trim pushrod & the engine at the front and 2mm over the rear engine mount. It was a tight fit, but it works perfectly.
I've installed all the pool noodle since these pics were taken.
All that needs to be done is to fit the fuel tank & run the fuel line, get the exhaust custom made to fit, get the 29cc top end modified and get the decals made.

With all the pool noodles in the bow & a fuel bag with 200ml of fuel and an ali pipe sat in the back of the boat I measured the COG at 260mm, 10mm forward of where I want to have it sitting when finished. So with a full bag of fuel and a steel header pipe combo set up properly the weight may be back further than 250mm which is good. I can add lead to the noodles in the bow to get it set right.

Dicko The COG looks & sounds about right, the trim nozzle will take of the rest ! How does she weigh in, should be around 6kg with fuel ! Headers have alway been a problem unless you have ur own tig and do like i did and mod a hanson deep v header I reackon with ur motor and timing # as we discussed you will need to set the pipe at 12 inch with +- 1/2 inch Craig

The pipe and manifold I ordered arrived today. Now the manifold is packed in the box with the engine off to be modified and matched and the custom header will be matched to the manifold too. Once they return its build and test time, then I'll strip it all and get some graphics on the hull.
It's getting there slowly.

I just got word that the engine, manifold & header will ship back to me tomorrow. Now If Aussie post can get it from Melbourne to Adelaide overnight I'll have something to do on the weekend. Not likely though..... Time will tell.
Final build and testing is getting closer.

D'oh I measured the wrong angle on the header pipe. The pipe hangs way out over the side of the boat the way it is. I'll send it back & get Ken to cut it & re-weld it at 35 degrees or so (I'll re-measure it & get it right this time). Everything else is ready to go except the pipe mount for the rear. The pics show the angle I want (pipe) and the header angle I got.

Header is already back in the mail on the way Back to Melbourne for a refit. Next weekend hopefully it'll be on the water. I'll make a pipe mount for the rear this week in the meantime.

I need to tidy up the radio wires, but that's a small job. I'm still deciding if I should shorten them or just wrap them up.

Re-aligned header is in the mail back to me. I should have it by the weekend. I just need to build a pipe hanger for the rear & it's ready for testing.
I need to decide wether to use carbon or Ali to make the pipe hanger, It may be a combination of the two. If I use Carbon I won't be able to run it this weekend as it won't cure properly in this cold weather we're having right now. I could use some pre cured offcut pieces though..... I'll have to go through the scrap bin & see what I have.

Here's a few pics of where I got up to today.
I made a mold for a carbon bracket out of ply, glued it together with a hot glue gun & covered it with packaging tape. I then laid 8 layers of carbon over it & clamped some more packaging tape covered ply overtop to squeeze out any excess resin. I made the mold to comform to the bend at the rear of the boat arounf the spiler and to come off the transom at the same ange as the pipe.
